Southwest Houston Proctor Center is an independent, veteran owner-operated small business. It was originally established in 2009 and has been providing secure computer-based and proctored testing services to the Houston community for 15 years!
The current owners took over management of the test center in August 2020 and are privileged to provide these services to the Greater Houston community.
Most recently, on May 1, 2024, we moved to a new location and can offer more flexibility in exam accommodations including a private room,
We are a College Board-CLEP Pearson Vue, Certiport, TOIEC, dsst, GED, and AHLEI-ServSafe-ServSuccess, authorized test center.
Our center does NOT currently administer Prometric-authorized exams.
We also provide individual test proctoring services for home-schoolers and students taking online courses who are unable to take an exam at their school/university or institution.

Our Facility
Our facility is spacious and comfortable. We have 24 computer workstations divided into 3 separate rooms. Candidates may request a private room for testing on a first-come, first-serve basis. We also have 1 workstation equipped with an adjustable standup desk.
Workstations
Each workstation is equipped with ethernet connections, a large monitor (varies from 17″ – 23″), mouse, keyboard, and headphones for audio portions of exams. Noise cancelling headsets are also available to use. Some workstations are also equipped with a webcam to be used with specific exams and online proctoring.
Video Monitoring
All workstations are monitored by a proctor and recorded. By testing at our test center, all candidates implicitly agree to be monitored at all times.
